Shipping

When will my order ship?
We do our best to ship orders as soon as possible. All orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours unless notified otherwise.

How much is shipping?
All U.S. orders ship for free! Shipping for international orders will be calculated at checkout.

General

Are your suits really recycled?
Yes they are! Our suits are made with recycled materials that are used to create the highest quality sustainable fabric. These materials include recycled polyester, salvaged fishing nets, ocean waste and plastic bottles.

How are you ethical? 

In order to care for the planet, we must care for each other. We work with ethical manufactures to ensure that employees are compensated and cared for.
Employees receive:
  • Competitive wages well over the minimum salary
  • PTO and holiday pay
  • Free medical insurance for themselves and their families covering doctor fees, prescriptions and hospitalizations
  • Are served a fresh, nutritious, hot meal daily
  • Optional overtime where they are paid at least time and a half or up to three times their hourly rate
  • All work areas are air-conditioned with working facilities
  • Offices are pet friendly!

Why are your bathing suits so expensive?
We do everything we can to keep our products as affordable as possible. Our suits are ethically made and individuals are paid fair wages, often double the minimum. We also use the highest quality of recycled fabrics to encourage sustainable fashion.

How can I try on styles in person?
Based in Southern California, Rooted is shipping across the United States but only offering in person shopping at local pop up events.

Do your suits run true to size?
Absolutely! Our goal is to make sure our products provide the perfect fit and give you the utmost confidence.

Returns

How can I start a return?
Items are eligible for returns 30 days after receiving your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused with the original tags in tact. Items marked 'Final Sale' will not be eligible for returns or refunds.

To start a return, you can contact us at rootedswim@gmail.com with your full name and order number. Once approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as for instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 
We will update you with a return status once we’ve received and inspected your purchase. Once approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Can I exchange my product?
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
